Agency vs. Dealership in car distribution

Quintegia in collaboration with ICDP and Attorney Marco A. Grilli has produced a Study on the agency topic with an informational focus, to deepen knowledge and awareness of the scope of changes on the horizon for the car distribution. It was made possible thanks to the support of sponsoring companies AUTO1.com and Nobis Assicurazioni who supported the initiative for the benefit of the automotive community. The Study provides an overview of the strategic drivers behind this choice, investigates European competition and national regulatory aspects in depth, and presents an initial indicative simulation analysis of possible impact scenarios on the dealers’ business model, which is based on theoretical modeling assumptions since the OEMs’ orientations are not yet concretely outlined.
