The Dealer Network Study analyzes the organization of the networks of the car brands in Italy with the aim of observing the distribution approach of the brands, from their presence in the territory to the policies implemented, to serve the market in an optimal way.

Contents

The set of touchpoint for sales and service activity and business management choices through the Dealer, with respect to which the Study offers a homogeneous picture, allow for the delineation of the orientation of brands in response to the consumer.

Methodology

The Comprehensive Report, organized in several Releases, includes a qualitative-quantitative analysis of the structure of the networks (sales and service), management policies for car sales activity, and average performance generated (sales and service), specifically considering those of the Top50 Dealers in Italy.

  1. Network structure – The study presents the structure of networks in terms of mandates and outlets (sales or service points) updated in January, showing trend indications. The turnover of entrepreneurs and mandates is analyzed next. Entrepreneurial concentration and the degree of multi-branding in the brand portfolio are also considered.
  2. Management Policies in Sales – The analysis goes on to offer an overview of the policies implemented at the network for selling cars. Network support will be considered, taking into account the levers available to the brand to outline standards and processes geared toward driving the consumer experience with the brand.
  3. Top Dealers and Performance – The latest release will include an extensive look at the Top50 Dealer Groups in Italy: identifying the top businesses by revenue (considering the entire corporate structure), highlighting their characteristics in terms of brand portfolio and location, and analyzing average performance results. Finally, the average sales of Dealers in Italy and the service potential in terms of theoretical average workshop passes for each Repairer in the network based on the age of the vehicle fleet will be available.
