Terms and conditions of sale

1. Object

These Conditions govern the sale of tickets for participation in Events organized by Quintegia S.p.a..

2. Definitions

The following definitions apply to these Conditions:

  • Quintegia Portal: indicates the portal for registrations to Quintegia S.p.a. initiatives that allow the purchase of Admission Tickets. https://community.quintegia.it
  • Fair Accreditation: indicates the ticket office present at the Event.
  • Client: indicates the person who purchases the Entry Ticket through the Quintegia Portal.
  • Website: means the website www.quintegia.it, owned and operated by Quintegia S.p.a..
  • Entrance Ticket/Ticket: it indicates the document, in digital format, issued by Quintegia S.p.a., which legitimizes the Customer to access the indicated Event.

3. Scope of application

3.1 These general conditions govern both the online sale of Admission Tickets to Events organized by Quintegia S.p.a., through the presale service via the Quintegia Community.

3.2 These Conditions do not govern the sale of products and/or services by parties other than Quintegia S.p.a. that are present on the Site through links, banners or other hypertext links. Therefore, Quintegia S.p.a. is not responsible for the provision of services and/or sale of products by such parties.

3.3 The present Conditions may be changed at any time. Any changes will be in effect from the time of their publication on the Site in the “General Terms and Conditions” section. Users are therefore encouraged to regularly access the Site and consult the most up-to-date version of these Terms before making any purchases.

4. Method of purchase

4.1 The purchase of Admission Tickets on the Site can only be made after registering with the online booking and purchasing platform “Quintegia Community.” If you have not yet registered, you can do so for free in the “Register” section of the Site. The purchase is allowed only if the Customer is 18 years of age or older.

4.2 There is a specific price for each ticket purchased, varying from Event to Event. The value can be found in advance on the specific site of the Event, on the pages indicating “How to Participate”.

4.3 No maximum limits are imposed on simultaneous ticket purchases.

4.4 Purchases on the Site may also be made during the days of the Event, but the participation fee will remain the same even if the Customer decides to attend only one of the days of that Event. Therefore, there are no reductions and/or “per day” costs.

5. Payment

5.1 Credit card information is stored in irreversible encrypted form on a third-party Financial Institution.

5.2 Purchasing tickets over the Internet is absolutely secure. Quintegia S.p.a. uses the latest industry standard encryption technology to keep visitors’ personal information secure. All information related to the purchase-including the customer’s name and credit card details-is encrypted using a 2048bit key. Transactions take place through SSL (the “Secure Sockets Layer”) to ensure maximum security. Credit card information cannot be read as it travels to Quintegia S.p.a.’s computer system. Credit card transactions are handled by a third-party Financial Institution (with SIA ISO 22301 PAYMENT CARD INDUSTRY – DATA SECURITY STANDARD (PCI-DSS) certification) that receives the credit card number and other identifying information. Quintegia S.p.a. does not maintain on its servers data on credit cards used by customers at the time of payment.

6. How to access the Event

6.1 Admission to the Event with tickets purchased on the website will be as follows:

  • Purchase tickets exclusively online at the Quintegia S.p.a. website, with the kind request to the Customer to print pre-Event their badge.
  • To gain access to the workshop halls and in the expo area you will have to show your Badge.

6.2 Accreditation and expo area opening times will always be visible on the relevant Event website.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Refund of Entrance Ticket

7.1 The Entrance Ticket is nominal and cannot be transferred to a third party.

7.2 The holder of an Admission Ticket who is unable to attend the Event may request a refund of that Ticket up to 48 hours before the start of the Event. After this period has passed, no further refund and/or compensation will be possible.

7.3 In the event of cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, of the Event, and only in this case, Quintegia S.p.a. will refund the Admission Ticket to the Customer.

7.4 Admission Tickets related to cancelled events may be exchanged for admission tickets related to other events organized by Quintegia S.p.a., if of interest to the Customer.

8. Limitations of liability and rights of Quintegia S.p.a.

8.1 Except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence, Quintegia S.p.a. shall not be liable for expenses and damages, direct and indirect, of any nature whatsoever, suffered by the Customer in connection with the sale of Entrance Tickets.

8.2 Quintegia S.p.a. reserves the right to withdraw, modify, suspend or discontinue any function or service rendered by it in connection with the sale of Admission Securities, where necessary or appropriate for technical and/or organizational reasons.

8.3 Quintegia S.p.a. reserves the right to change the purchase order at any time, if the Customer has provided incorrect information during registration and is taking advantage of reduced quotas not applicable to the category of their company.

9. Assistance

9.1 You may request information and send communications by contacting Quintegia S.p.a.’s Customer Service by e-mail at support@quintegia.it or by telephone numbers listed on the Website.

9.2 Quintegia S.p.a. Customer Service will respond within a maximum of one business day after the report is sent. Only in the case of more complex reports that need further investigation will Customer Service respond within three working days.

9.3 Quintegia S.p.a. Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

10. Privacy

Registration on the Website and any subsequent use of the services offered, including the purchase, ticketing service governed by these Conditions, involves the processing of personal data provided by the Customer. Such data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Code and of the REG. EU 2016/679, according to the terms contained in the information sheet in the registration form that the Customer is required to view and expressly accept during the registration process. Quintegia declines any responsibility for the processing of data that individual Event participants will acquire independently through reading the QRCode displayed on the badge.
