Toyota is the manufacturer with the highest dealer satisfaction rating in the main European markets.

The results of the European Automotive Retailer Satisfaction
were presented at Automotive Dealer Day 2025.

Toyota is the No. 1 brand in Dealer Satisfaction in the main European markets. The award was accepted by Alberto Santilli, Managing Director of Toyota Motor Italia during Automotive Dealer Day.

The result emerged from the first edition of the European Automotive Retailer Satisfaction, a new international project launched this year by Quintegia with the aim of analysing car dealers’ satisfaction with their relationship with manufacturers, processing data from France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, as well as Italy.

Toyota won the award with a score of 3.98 (on a scale of 1 to 5). BMW and Dacia completed the podium, with Mercedes-Benz and Cupra in 4th and 5th place respectively.

‘We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious award, especially at European level this year. This award not only reflects the excellence of our brand, but above all the crucial importance that Toyota continues to assign to its dealer network,’ commented Alberto Santilli, Managing Director of Toyota Motor Italia. ’The integrated development of people, processes and digital and physical platforms represent the foundations of our renewed partnership with the entrepreneurs who, with their organisations, represent us every day in Italy and Europe and bring our brand promise to life. Their passion and dedication are the beating heart of our success. Together, we will continue to build strong relationships, because we firmly believe that a strong network is the main asset for achieving new goals in the future and always offering a memorable experience to our customers in Italy and throughout Europe.’

The project began by identifying companies in Europe that analyse dealer satisfaction in their relationship with manufacturers in order to build a European network led by Quintegia and share unique data. The final result was made possible thanks to the relationships established by Quintegia with Mobilians for France, Institut für Automobilwirtschaft for Germany, Faconauto in Spain and NFDA for the United Kingdom.

The European Automotive Retailer Satisfaction, which reworked data collected by the European network and transformed the rating scales created by Quintegia, produced an overall ranking in which Toyota came out on top thanks to its excellent results, particularly in Italy, Germany and Spain.

The data was collected during 2024 (the survey periods differ for each country), examining 22 car brands. In each country, more than 50 aspects were taken into consideration for each brand in order to arrive at an overall assessment. The 2024 survey involved more than 3,000 dealers who completed over 6,500 questionnaires relating to the brands they represent.
